Congressman Barrow Visits Saxon and Susie Dasher

Celebrating Pre-K Week in style, Congressman John Barrow visited Saxon Heights and Susie Dasher Elementary students on Friday, October 10th.

"I think Pre-K is one of the best things we can do for our kids to give them a head start on things they can expect," said Barrow.  "I know, from my own experience, if you've been through it or been to the next level you're more confident and able to face it without fear, anxiety or distraction."

After explaining his role as a U.S. Representative, Barrow read to each class.

Saxon students chose The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything as their title, while he read If You Give A Mouse A Cookie at Susie Dasher.
