Fighting Irish Band

Dublin High School's Fighting Irish Band is competition bound. This weekend they travel to Pierce County High School for the Sounds of Silver Competition. So, we sat down with Mr. Loredo and band members to see how they're preparing.

Schedule Adjustment

Please excuse our progress as we have transitioned into the second nine weeks period.  Due to FTE count earlier this month, our teachers will not be able to input grade electronically at this time.  This means that parent portal will not have the adjusted schedule, absences, assignments, or grades for your child.  Please feel free to contact your child's teacher via email for any concerns. Thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter.

DMS Parent Academy

Dublin Middle School Parents, mark your calendars now for the October 25th Parent Academy.  Up for discussion are The Big 3 C's...Communication, Computers and Curriculum.

Eight DMS Students Earn Industry Certifications

Offering 8th Graders the chance to boost their resumes while still in school, Dublin Middle School partnered with The Whetstone Group in August 2014.  In less than nine weeks, eight DMS students have completed testing and earned Microsoft Industry Certifications recognized in workplaces worldwide.

“I was excited to pass the test because I knew it could get me jobs in the future,” said 8th Grader Ezekiel McMillan.

The curriculum is self-paced, so students decide for themselves how many certifications they will receive.

It’s important to note that only one Microsoft Industry Certification Test is available.  There is no separate test for “Middle School,” “High School” or “Adult.”
