DHS Chorus Hold First Christmas Concert

Who's excited for Dublin High School's first ever Chorus Christmas Concert?

With their sweet melodies, it's the perfect way to embrace the Holiday Season. 

DHS Band Holds Special Christmas Concert

Dublin High School's Band had quite the jubilant audience at their recent Christmas Concert. Playing classics like "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "Jingle Bells," they performed a show specifically with DCS students with disabilities in mind. They danced; they sang, and they had a great time!

The Nutcracker 2014

Dublin City Schools 4th Graders were transported to a party scene, battle ground and the Land of Sweets, all while staying in their Theatre Dublin seats. For, today was all about The Nutcracker for our elementary students. 

     "It was great," said Hillcrest 4th Grader Edward Lanier. "I especially liked when the Rat King and Nutcracker battled." 

BOE Named Distinguished School Board

Dublin City Schools is pleased to announce its Board of Education was recently recognized as a 2014 Distinguished School Board by the Georgia School Boards Association. 


     “I’m very proud of our School Board.  Last year they were named a Quality Board, and this year, they took it a step forward, becoming a Distinguished School Board,” said DCS Superintendent Dr. Chuck Ledbetter. “It speaks a lot towards Dublin City Schools, with our Board Members attending training sessions to make sure they work in a manner that’s most beneficial for our students.”


     The recognition program was designed to showcase best practices in school governance and leadership.

DHS's Class of 2016 Receive Class Rings

It's an exciting day to be a Dublin High Junior! They've just received their Class of 2016 rings, which means their one milestone closer to be Grads.

DCS Brings Christmas to 125 Students

Dublin City Schools is lending a helping hand, bringing Christmas to125 students with its Secret Santa Project. 


     "I know that our students are excited about Christmas" said DCS Homeless Liaison Lori Williams.  "But, some of our parents are struggling, so we try to make Christmas a little easier for the families who need a bit of extra help."  


     In addition to each child receiving a bike or scooter, parents were given a bag to fill with items like toys, blankets, toiletry items and clothes. 

Dublin Christmas Parade

Nothing ushers in the Holiday Season quite like the Dublin Christmas Parade!

From JROTC cadets and the Marching Band to our elementary cheerleaders and Frozen float, Dublin City Schools was well represented.

DHS Wrestling Win Shamrock Dual

Congratulations to Dublin High School's Wrestling Team!  They recenlty competed at home, where they brought it all to the mat and finished with a Shamrock Dual victory.

Fall Arts Festival

Just in time for the holidays, students from elementary to high school recently attended the Fall Arts Festival.


     It's a day dedicated to those with mental and physical disabilities, offering them the chance to participate in hands-on activities in addition to interacting with local entertainment.


     With events like face painting, spin art and a visit from the Therapups, all who attended were guaranteed a great time!

Teachers of the Year

Dublin City Schools is pleased to announce its 2014-2015 Teachers of the Year! Selected by their peers, each honored educator is dedicated to inspiring students and playing an active role in their school.

Museum of Literature

From once upon a time to the end, Mrs. Claxton's Senior AP Class knew everything about The Poisonwood Bible! Barbara Kingsolver's 600+ page novel was selected for this year's Museum of Literature.
